California Concord Grapes
We have planted 5 grape plants in front of the chicken coop. Four are California Concord grapes. (We planted 5 but one failed.) We planted a Concord-like grape to replace it. That fifth one is called Niabell.

Kris - How did this work out? I'm trying to pick a non-toxic vine to cover my chicken run and grapes are on the short list. Thanks! Dawn
It has worked very well. The grapes grew up and over the top of the chicken coop, providing lots of shade.
Good luck!
